Who we are
DrawFunder is operated by Somar Fergusson, a UK-based sole trader. I built DrawFunder because I was running charity prize draws for my own fundraising and couldn't find a platform that made it easy, transparent, and compliant.
So I built one. DrawFunder is a software platform that enables fundraisers to run transparent, legally structured prize draws to support charitable causes. Every draw includes a free entry route, a public audit trail, and a verified proof of draw page — so anyone can confirm the result was fair.

How it works legally
DrawFunder is a technology platform, not a promoter. The individual fundraiser is the promoter of each draw and is responsible for compliance.
All draws must include a free entry route to operate as prize draws rather than lotteries under UK law.
Donations flow directly to charities through connected fundraising pages (JustGiving, Enthuse or GiveWheel). DrawFunder takes 0% of donations and never holds the money or stores payment details — the fundraising provider's own fees may apply.
DrawFunder is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and processes data in accordance with UK GDPR.
